Join the Bucks, Berks & Oxon Group for a day exploring vernacular lime plastering at the workshop of master plasterer, Michael O’Reilly.
The event will include a talk on traditional materials, as well as live demonstrations of lime slaking, wattle and daub work and traditional and decorative plastering.
You will need
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty.
Please bring a packed lunch as there are limited facilities nearby.
How to get there
If you're driving, you can park at the workshop.
If you're coming by public transport, the nearest train stations are in Twyford and Reading.
Accessibility
This event involves significant periods of standing and there may be uneven surfaces.
