Intro to Lino-Cutting

Introduction to Lino Cutting

SPAB member and lino cut artist, Dr Penny Streeter, joined us for an introductory session on lino cutting and printing at home. Penny looked at turning a drawing of a building into a simpler design which works well for printing, and shared tips and tricks for how to transfer the design to lino and print onto light weight paper.

Taylors Bell Foundry

Saving the last major bell foundry in Britain

Architect and SPAB member, Patricia Forero-Senior, takes us through the long history of Taylor's Bell Foundry in Loughborough and current plans to repair this Grade II* listed site, remove it from the Heritage at Risk register, and secure a sustainable future for bell-making in Britain.
