Join the Dorset Group for an online talk about the harmful impact water has on old buildings and what can be done to reduce it.

Thursday 29 February, 7 - 8.30pm

We all know how harmful water can be to old buildings – but what can be done to reduce this? Join this Dorset Group webinar to find out.

You will learn how flooding, water penetration, damp, condensation, neglect, and poor original design can affect old buildings.

We will also review how you can mitigate or solve these issues in a way that’s sensitive to the building. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion at the end.

The speaker

Dorset Group Committee member Kevin Stubbs is a Historic Buildings Consultant and course leader of the MSc Building Conservation course at the Weald and Downland Living Museum. His career has spanned 50 years of working with heritage structures.

Kevin will host another online talk on 11 April, this time covering detailing in historic buildings
