The details in old buildings are full of clues. Join this Dorset Group webinar and learn how to identify them and understand their significance. It’s all in the detail!

Detail in historic buildings has changed through time, sometimes subtly. It is the detailing which often allows us to date a building. In repair it is crucial that the nuances of the period detailing are appreciated.

This well-illustrated webinar will help members to identify and understand the significance and fine detail of a historic building, and interpret how they contribute to the value of the building as a whole.

The speaker

Dorset Group Committee member Kevin Stubbs is a Historic Buildings Consultant and course leader of the MSc Building Conservation course at the Weald and Downland Living Museum. His career has spanned 50 years of working with heritage structures.
