Event details
Tuesday 5 August, 6 – 7.30pm
Join the London Group for a walk along the route of the Camden Highline. The Highline is a proposed elevated public park and greenway that will run from Camden Town to King's Cross, transforming a disused section of railway. Our tour will be led by one of the team at Camden Town Unlimited, the local organisation coordinating the project.
James Corner of Field Operations, the team behind the New York High Line, is leading the design. Their proposal is a linear garden for all, punctuated with woodland groves for quiet reflection, a suntrap pavilion, an outdoor classroom, play areas, habitat platforms and spaces for art, culture and community activity.
The Camden Highline will also be a platform to shine a light on art and heritage, revealing aspects of Camden’s rich industrial past
Don’t miss this chance to explore this amazing project. Why not bring a friend?
How to get there
