We are thrilled to be shortlisted for a Museums and Heritage Award in Best Use of Digital (UK). This recognises our work to deliver our Repair of Old Buildings Course online for the first time.

The sails are back on our 18th-century windmill at Kibworth Harcourt, Leicestershire. This is a huge milestone in the project to bring this fragile and beautiful mill back into good repair.

We’re delighted that plasterer and 2022 Fellow Daahir Mohamed has been awarded a generous grant from Heritage Crafts. The grant will help to support him during the Fellowship, our six-month training scheme for craftspeople.

We’ve objected to proposals that will harm the beautiful historic farm buildings at Higher Melcombe Farm, next to the Grade I listed 15th century Manor and a deserted medieval village.

Kevin McCloud, TV presenter, designer and writer, will present the SPAB Heritage Awards at a November 2022 event at Conway Hall in London, the beautiful 1920’s home of the Ethical Society.

The Fellowship fosters outstanding craftspeople with the skills for working with historic buildings. After a year's delay due to the pandemic, Fellows Toby, Thom, Tom and Oliver have now completed their conservation tour of the UK.
