Considering taking on your local redundant church building? Join us for this online talk covering vital things to look out for before taking the plunge. 

Sarah Pearce will explain recent guidance from the Community Ownership Support Service, Heritage Trust Network and Historic Churches Scotland, and how to make best use of it.  

The speaker  

Sarah Pearce joined the Heritage Trust Network from the Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland. She brings with her the skills and expertise to support the growing number of charities and social enterprises working with heritage at risk. She has recently co-authored the ‘Your Church, Your Community’ Guidance

How does it work? 

This talk will be recorded and shared with you to watch ‘on demand’ until 31 October. 

This is part of a series of five online talks exploring the current issue of church closures in Scotland, and how these buildings and communities can be helped.
