The illustrated lecture, entitled “The Secret Language and Traditions of the Masons of County Cork, Ireland” will examine the background of the 'Bearlager na saor' - a secret language used by Irish stone masons since at least the middle ages. This is a pre-recorded lecture brought to you from SPAB Ireland for Seachtain Náisúnta Oidhreachta na hÉireann (National Heritage Week Ireland 2020).
