Kibworth Harcourt Mill Repair Project

The lecture is about the recent repair project of Kibworth Harcourt Mill, Leicestershire undertaken by the SPAB and SPAB Mills Section. David Holmes will cover all aspects of this extensive repair project that will allow this only surviving post mill in Leicestershire to survive and stand as an important part of local and national milling heritage.

Some parts of Kibworth Harcourt Mill date back to 1711 and its main post shows evidence of dating back to the early 1700s. The mill is classified as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade II* listed building. To find out more about the project see here
