The “Granby Four Streets” project in Liverpool brought architecture and design collective Assemble and Toxteth residents wide recognition for an approach to regeneration that placed a community’s affection for its local heritage, and local people’s talents and resourcefulness, at its heart. Over the last decade they have worked together to realise a sustainable and incremental vision for the Granby area, including affordable housing, public space and new enterprise opportunities, winning the 2015 Turner Prize along the way. Fran Edgerley, a founding partner of Assemble, will discuss Granby Four Streets and other current projects, which demonstrate the potential and success of community led regeneration.

This recorded talk will be available to view on demand until midnight 30 April 2021 only. We thank Fran Edgerley for allowing us to extend the viewing period of this popular talk.
