Hard Hat Day & Stonemasonry Demonstrations - Guided Tour & Workshop St Nicholas Church, West Lexham, Norfolk PE32 2QN

This free drop in event is hosted by West Lexham Parish Council in association with Nicholas Warns Architect Ltd, S&L Restoration Ltd and SPAB Fenland and Wash.
Extensive repair works are underway at St Nicholas on the roofs, structure and rainwater goods and inappropriate cement render is being removed from the clunch walls which comprise the rare, part early 11th century, round tower.

Site tours will take place throughout the day and will include ascending the scaffold, practical demonstrations, and observing an experienced stonemason in action with the opportunity to make your own stone carved sculpture.

Refreshments will be available on site.
No need to book. Event flyer available at www.nicholaswarns.com.
