Join us for a tour of Wentworth Woodhouse, with Conservation Architect, Dorian Proudfoot of Donald Insall Associates.
Wentworth Woodhouse, Rotherham, is one of England’s largest country houses and has recently embarked upon an ambitious regeneration and restoration project.
In the morning, the group will have a guided visit to view the current conservation site work being undertaken at the Grade II* listed Camellia House (which is set within the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse) and following, there will be a tour of the recently restored main house roof; both led by the Conservation Architect.
Following lunch at the café (at own cost), there will be a full house tour led by the Wentworth Woodhouse Trust.
Please note, the tour will include a site visit, so PPE (provided by Wentworth Woodhouse) must be worn. Access to the roof will be up ladders and at height. Please can all visitors ensure they wear appropriate clothes and stout footwear.
