Join the Wales and Marches Group in Tong and Cosford to see St Bartholomew's Church and The White Ladies Priory, Cosford. Our tour will be led by local historian Robert Perry.
The morning will see a tour of the Grade I St Bartholomew’s Church at Tong. We’ll take in the church its many impressive tombs, and the ruins of Tong Castle adjacent to the Church – demolished in 1954 to make way for the M54.
We suggest lunch in the Bell Inn, Tong Norton or Albrighton Garden Centre.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the ruins of The White Ladies Priory a 12th century Augustinian nunnery.
