Devon Group, visit to Weycroft Hall, Axminster

Saturday 16 March, 2.30 - 4.30pm. This event is for SPAB Members and their guests.  

Join the Devon Group for a visit to the Grade I listed Weycroft Hall in Axminster, including a tour of the house, access to the extensive gardens and a cream tea with owners Vince and Clio Turner.

The first documentary evidence of the property is a licence to build a chapel dated 1417. Since then, many changes of owner and fortune have left their visible mark.

The revival of interest in medieval romanticism in the late 19th and early 20th century led to the property being repaired and embelished, resulting in the comfortable family home we see today.
