Narborough Bone Mill Open Day
Narborough Bone Mill Open Day
Free
Event details
Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th May, 11am to 4pm
This is a free event, which is open to all.
Please note that our website has been experiencing glitches. If you are having trouble booking a place, do come along anyway as there is no limit on visitor numbers, though it would be useful for the organisers to get an idea of numbers in advance. Thank you.
On May the 13th and 14th, as part of the SPAB Mills weekend, the Narborough Bone Mill has its open day and you may want to join us to see how an SPAB and HLF funded project has conserved the remains of the Bone Mill and encouraged the wildlife diversity in this area. There is a 1.1 mile walk along the River Nar SSSI chalk bed river. Parking is at the Narborough Maltings PE32 1TE by the old railway bridge and pond. There is no charge for the visit and refreshments are free. We hope you can join us for this popular day out.
About the Fenland & Wash Regional Group
The group was set up by a number of enthusiastic members in 2003 to promote SPAB philosophy amongst homeowners and those who work on old buildings. Our area loosely covers Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire, although some events are outside this area.
Accessibility: please contact the Group Organiser before booking to discuss any special access requirements.
