Devon Group Visit to The Courtroom, Chard

Join the Devon Group for a visit to The Courtroom in Chard with Patrick Stow, Chairman of the Somerset Building Preservation Trust.
The Trust has recently leased this Grade I listed, 16th century buidling and is carrying out surveys and studies in order to repair it and ensure its future. You'll see The Courtroom's original features, including a first-floor courtroom with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and superb original plasterwork.
You will need
Please wear a hard hat, if you have one, and sensible shoes for uneven floor surfaces.
