Managing Bats in Old Buildings, Lunchtime CPD Session

Registration is closed for this event
Join us to learn how to manage the presence of bats in old buildings and how to incorporate their protection into building works and design. Part of our 2019 lunchtime CPD series.

12.00-13.30, 12 March 2019

Old buildings provide vital roosts for many bat species and their protection requires careful planning of any building maintenance, adaptation or repairs. This talk from the Bat Conservation Trust will explain how bats use buildings, what the legal requirements are, and how you can plan your works to the mutual benefit of the bats and the building.

Lunchtime CPD Series

The SPAB launched our series of short CPD sessions in 2017. These are specially designed to give you a way to easily meet your CPD requirements and improve your understanding of building conservation during your lunch break.

Held at our offices in central London, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, we will be offering four sessions on core conservation topics, led by experts. Lunch is included in the ticket price and it is a great opportunity to meet likeminded people and discuss issues informing the care of historic buildings.
