Join the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Group for a personal guided tour of Holme Pierrepont Hall and St Edmund’s Church with Robert Brackenbury, a descendant of the Pierrepont family.
The 90-minute tour will explore the fascinating history and architecture of the Hall, which has been home to the Pierrepont family for centuries. The visit will also include a tour of the adjoining parish church of St Edmund's, noted for its fine alabaster Pierrepont monuments.
A rare opportunity to experience this remarkable house and church through the eyes of a family descendent.
The tour will be followed by a two-course festive lunch at the nearby Poppy and Pint, a welcoming local pub known for its good food and relaxed atmosphere. Lunch choice arrangements will be sent with your confirmation.
You will need
Please wear warm, comfortable layers and sturdy and closed-toed shoes. We recommend bringing a raincoat or umbrella as part of it will be outdoors.

Holme Pierrepont Hall is 3 miles from Trent Bridge, off the A52 Nottingham to Grantham Road. Turn off the A52 at the edge of West Bridgford, pass the National Water Sports Centre, and follow the brown signs to the house. There is ample on-street parking.
For those using an in-car satnav you will be brought in via Radcliffe on Trent. Please ignore the satnav and follow signs to the National Water Sports Centre and then brown signs to the house.

Accessibility
Please be aware that there will be stairs involved in the tour although a stair lift is available for those that require it. Ramps can also be placed. Please give advance notice if this is required.
There is ample on-street parking and toilets are available.
