Led by Chris Balme of Ferguson Mann Architects, this visit to the historic town of Bridgwater will include a trip to SAVE's Castle House. Built in 1851 of prefabricated concrete by construction pioneer John Board, this miniature castle was damaged by fire and spent years on the Heritage at Risk list before finally being rescued by SAVE.

The Castle House visit will be followed by lunch, and then further exploration of the town's Georgian buildings. We also hope to see the Blake Museum – now Bridgwater Museum.

The cost of this visit is £10. To book a place, or register an interest, please contact organiser Celia Downie, using the contact details on the Bath and Bristol Regional Group page or in your latest copy of the Regional Group newsletter.
