SPAB Scotland invite you to join us at Glasgow Cathedral for an exciting and informal sketching afternoon. A talk given by Glasgow City Heritage Trust's Building Repair Manager, and SPAB Scotland committee member, Jamie McNamara will set the scene for the afternoon's sketching session led by our lovely artist Daria. We will then head to a local cafe for an informal tea or coffee (please note, this is not provided for by SPAB Scotland).

This event is completely free and open to people of all ages, experience and artistic capabilities, so bring along your family, friends and colleagues! Photographers are also welcome.   

Please bring your own equipment and wear sensible footwear. 

10.45  Meet outside the main entrance to Glasgow Cathedral.

11.00  Introduction to SPAB. Start walking tour of cathedral and necropolis, led by committee member Jamie McNamara.

11.30  Finish walking tour. Find suitable location (weather dependant) and begin sketching.

11.30-14.00  Sketching afternoon of building, gravestones, tombs etc led by lead artist Daria.

14.00-15.00  Informal coffee/tea at local cafe.
