Event details

Friday 21 October 2022, 4pm - 6pm

For the last event of this year for SPAB Sussex we are going on a walking tour of the historic mediaeval High Street in Robertsbridge, East Sussex. The village was prosperous in the 14th and 15th Centuries and there is a legacy of timber framed houses in and around the High Street.

We will be led by our good friends the archaeologists David and Barbara Martin who have studied many of these buildings.

The visit will conclude at the George pub in the High Street, where you are welcome to join us for a drink. If there's enough interest, we may also stay for a meal - please note that this is dependent on demand and space. No booking has been made and food and drink at the pub are not included in the visit price.

Places are £8 per person and places are limited, so book quickly.

Multiple bookings
As long as there is space on the event, we usually allow you to book for both yourself and a guest. When completing the booking form, you will be asked to select the number of people and put in your own details on the first page, then to put in your second person's details on the next page. The event fee shown on each of these pages is for the individual person - you will be shown the total amount due once you get to the summary page.
