At SPAB Scotland, we believe that being in lockdown doesn't mean you can't explore the heritage of beautiful places.

Come and join Jamie for a photographic tour of some of Glasgow’s most celebrated, forgotten and unexpected buildings. He will talk about some buildings that he absolutely adores and highlight some interesting features discovered along the way. From the humble tenement, crumbling concrete lumps, Art Deco beauties and all inbetween that have piqued his curiosity over the years living and working in Glasgow!

Jamie McNamara holds a Post Grad Diploma in Applied Building Repair plus an MA in Conservation. He has worked with the conservation of canals, churches, city regeneration schemes and within the traditional skills area. He likes abandoned industrial buldings and bashed wrecks that tell a story. The current Chairperson of SPAB Scotland; he is also a full and active member of the IHBC.
