For this session of the SPAB members' skillshare, we're joined by Jennifer Freeman, who will take us through her approach to rescuing listed buildings at risk through the work of Freeman Historic Properties Ltd.
The talk will focus on her current project, the conversion of the long redundant Grade II* listed Church of St Mary the Less, Thetford, Norfolk.
The project has received grant funding from Historic England and aims to sensitively convert the site into five houses.
About the speaker: Jenny Freeman is an architectural historian, writer, lecturer and former Director of Historic Chapels Trust. She established Freeman Historic Properties in 1992. St Mary the Less is her current project.
About the skill-share: Run by members for members, these short and informal online sessions are a great way to learn from the expertise and experience of your fellow historic building enthusiasts. To participate, all you need is an internet connection, and a laptop, computer or phone with the ability to play video and audio.
