Price: £120 per person (Non-Members), or £90 per person (SPAB Members)

Mill volunteers, trainee millers, more experienced millers who wish to develop their skills

Back by popular demand, we run our Practical Flour Milling course again at Fosters Mill. You will spend a day gaining hands-on experience running the mill under the careful supervision of experienced traditional millers. You will gain practical experience of starting and stopping the mill, milling different types of flour, dressing flour, moving grain around the mill, bagging up and gain insight into selling flour. The day will also include discussion on the needs of artisan bakers.
The course price includes course notes, lunch and refreshments during the day.
