Visit to Hay Castle and Lower Court

Visit to Hay Castle and Lower Court, Clifford
SPAB Wales & Marches Group
£22 per person
Event details
Saturday 23 July, 10.00 - 16.00
This visit to Hay will start with a behind-the-scenes tour of Hay Castle, which has recently reopened following rennovations. Tea and coffee will be available at the start of the visit, and we'll then split into groups for the tour.
We'll break for lunch around 12.00. There are plenty of options in Hay-on-Wye, or you can pre-book to have lunch in the cafe at the Castle. Please note that lunch is not included in the visit price.
We'll reconvene in the afternoon for a guided tour of Lower Court. Parts of this Grade II* Farmhouse date from the 14th century. The current owners plan repairs - this will be a pre-works visit led by the project architect, Deborah Johnson, and Duncan James, architectural historian.
Multiple bookings
As long as there is space on the event, we usually allow you to book for both yourself and a guest. When completing the booking form, you will be asked to select the number of people and put in your own details on the first page, then to put in your second person's details on the next page. The event fee shown on each of these pages is for the individual person - you will be shown the total amount due once you get to the summary page.
