Love and Mustard in the time of Cholera
SPAB Norfolk Event
£5.00 per person
Event details
Saturday 7 May
Meeting at 10.45am in front of the early c20th engine house, boiler house and coal store at Trowse Sewage Pumping Station (https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1478662?secti... opposite Redwell Brewery) for a 11.00am start.
This heritage tour, led by Paul Free, will emphasise the context of the pumping stations as an almost complete surviving industrial complex with the derelict railway station and bridge adjacent creating a significant contribution to both landscape and fast-developing c19th industry. The tour does not include access inside the buildings.
Attendees will be invited to visit Paul’s workshop (woodwork) to see materials and enjoy a cup of tea.
Members and non will also be welcome to meet afterward at the Redwell Brewery Taproom (booking not required).
Multiple bookings
As long as there is space on the event, we usually allow you to book for both yourself and a guest. When completing the booking form, you will be asked to select the number of people and put in your own details on the first page, then to put in your second person's details on the next page. The event fee shown on each of these pages is for the individual person - you will be shown the total amount due once you get to the summary page.
