The Maintenance Co-operatives Project came to a close in March 2017, having set up over 32 Maintenance Co-operatives across the country and five 'Co-op Minis'. If you've been inspired by the work of the project you can, of course, start your own Maintenance Co-operative to look after your historic place of worship.
Visit our MCP and FiM resources page to find help and advice on structuring your co-operative, putting together a tool kit, templates for maintenance plans and technical advice on common problems with old buildings.
You can also watch our MCP short film and download the MCP Handbook to find out how others have done it. Add a bit of enthusiasm and, of course, some tea and cake and you will be ready to go!
