Millwright directory

The best people to look after traditional mills are, of course, traditional millwrights! With their expert knowledge, they can select appropriate materials and methods to properly maintain and repair the special historic machinery and fabric of windmills and watermills.

The following millwrights are Mills Section Members who follow the principles of our Philosophy of Repair of Windmills and Watermills. Many of them are happy to travel beyond their immediate area.

We hope our Millwright Fellowship will gradually increase the number of millwrights across the UK.
