The mill dates from about 1740 and has some contemporary machinery. A Lowder mill, with four pairs of millstones and an internal high breast waterwheel, all working. Picnic area. A turbine has been installed in the river to generate electricity, which can be viewed from the mill.

    is a paid for event at £5 and will give a chance for visitors to
    get close up to the milling process and have a full guided tour
