In 1877, when vicar, the Revd P N Leakey, enlisted the SPAB’s support to build a new church to save historic St Petrock’s from damaging alterations, Ruskin was among the subscribers. Meriel O’Dowd takes up the story of the church’s rescue and long term care.

This visit is to a 15th century timber framed hall house with a later decorative brick gable. Recent works have rescued it from dereliction.
