Event details

Thursday 28 May, 18.30-19.30

As we come to terms with the fact that we won’t be able to see many of you in person for a while longer, we decided we still wanted to be able to engage with you and keep sharing our knowledge of London. A number of the London Group committee are preparing tours of their local area - first up is East Ham.

East of West Ham, this area was largely developed in the late Victorian and early Edwardian period though the area has a much longer history, being first recorded as Hamme in 958. Join us on Thursday 28th May to find out more!

As always, our ‘walks’ are free (though donations are gratefully accepted); but you must register in advance so that we can send you the link to join the webinar. Clicking the book now button will take you to eventbrite to register.

IT requirements: Please note that this is an online session and will be held via a webinar platform called CrowdCast. You will be sent instructions on how to join the session when you book. To participate, all you need is an internet connection, and a laptop, computer or phone with the ability to play video and audio. On android mobiles/tablets, sessions can be accessed via either Chrome for Android or Firefox for Android. Apple mobile/tablet users will need to download the CrowdCast app.

If you'd like to test your internet speed meets requirements before booking, please use this page on the CrowdCast website.

Accessibility: please contact the SPAB before booking to discuss any special access requirements.
