When the wall of her C17th cottage in Highgate developed cracks and began to bulge away from the rest of the building, Jane Hill rang the SPAB’s advice line for help. With advice from conservation architect, David John, and structural engineer, Ed Morton, Jane contracted Triskele Conservation to address the issue.

In this skillshare, Jane will take us through the project, sharing her view as the homeowner.

About the speaker: Jane Hill is a freelance writer and curator of C20th Modern British Art. She’s the author of the Art of Dora Carrington (Curator of Carrington: The Exhibition, Barbican Art Gallery, 1995) and the Sculpture of Gertrude Hermes (Wild Girl: Gertrude Hermes, Hepworth Wakefield, 2016).  Jane is also a Social Historian with a growing interest in the C17th.
