Join SPAB member Rob Holmes as he talks through his experience of repairing his 17th century thatched cottage, with all the pitfalls and difficulties he encountered along the way. Inspired by the chapters in our Old House Handbook, this will be an honest but light-hearted account of owning and caring for a historic building

About the skill-share: Run by members for members, these short and informal online sessions are a great way to learn from the expertise and experience of your fellow historic building enthusiasts. IT requirements: Please note that this is an online session and will be held via a webinar platform called CrowdCast. You will be sent instructions on how to join the session when you book. To participate, all you need is an internet connection, and a laptop, computer or phone with the ability to play video and audio. On android mobiles/tablets, sessions can be accessed via either Chrome for Android or Firefox for Android. Apple mobile/tablet users will need to download the CrowdCast app.
