SPAB Member Robert Duff and his wife Terri have been working on Felton House, their early modern home in Somerset. With parts of the building dating from the late 15th century, the project has been both a labour of love and a journey of discovery.

Robert's Skillshare will examine how preconceived ideas and plans can change as one removes modern interventions to navigate through decades and centuries of alterations, and how a flexible and open approach to repair is necessary to discover what best suits the house.

It will also examine the harm that can be caused by inappropriate materials, the difficult choices one has to make through the repair process and how what one finds can influence and alter choices.
