Women in Conservation: Event Donation
Following the success of SPAB's first Women in Conservation event, we are pleased to share the date of our next panel discussion: 10 March 2026.
We are seeking support for our 2026 Women in Conservation event to explore the importance of increasing women's participation in conservation professions. Donations can be made via the SPAB website. Get in touch if you would like to donate by bank transfer or would like information about overall event sponsorship.
The event will take place at the Art Workers' Guild in London, and will be live streamed for those not able to join us in person. Nina Bilbey, stone carver, sculptor, teacher and podcaster, will once again Chair the panel. Other confirmed panelists are: Helen Bower, stained glass artist, conservator and teacher; Karen (Kas) Skeats, plasterer; Claire Vidler, building conservator (carpentry), event organiser, mother and researcher; Jo Williams, sculptor and artist blacksmith. More details about the event will be available in the coming months.
