Are you a mill owner?

Taking part in National Mills Weekend (13 -14 May 2023) is a great way to engage with the local community, and can help to raise funds for repairs or a local charity. There is no charge to join in and you can take part for any length of time on either or both days – you only need to open your doors and welcome visitors. Some mills organise family activities or run a joint event with other mills in their area. If you do plan to run activities, we would recommend that you link them to our theme for 2023, 'Millwrighting - Past and Present'.

To receive information and updates, please contact us with the name of your mill and your details and we'll ensure you’re on our mailing list.

Download our support materials:

  • The 2023  Support Pack which is full of advice and contacts to help you arrange and promote your mill during National Mills Weekend will be published shortly.
  • The National Mills Weekend poster in A4 size which you can customise with details of your own mill (instructions for personalising the poster are in the Support Pack) can be found here.

Updating your mill page

In future we hope that it will be possible for mill owners and managers to update their mill's webpage themselves. Until then, please Contact us if changes need to be made to your mill's details, to ensure the website is as up-to-date as possible.
