Are you a mill owner?
Taking part in National Mills Weekend (12-13 May 2018) is a great way to engage with the local community, and can help to raise funds for repairs or a local charity. There is no charge to join in and you can take part for any length of time on either or both days – you only need to open your doors and welcome visitors. Some mills organise family activities or run a joint event with other mills in their area. If you do plan to run activities, we would recommend that you link them to our theme for 2018, Mills and Wildlife.
To receive information and updates, please contact us with the name of your mill and your details and we'll ensure you’re on our mailing list.
Download our support materials:
- 11-page Support Pack full of advice and contacts to help you arrange and promote your mill during National Mills Weekend
- The National Mills Weekend poster in A4 size which you can customise with details of your own mill (instructions for personalising the poster are in the Support Pack).
Updating your mill page
Our system allows you to amend the entry for your mill yourself, ensuring it can be updated easily when dates, times and events change. Contact us for details of how to access your mill’s web page. Please help us to keep our web pages up to date by regularly checking the page for your mill and amending it as necessary.
