Heritage consultant Jhilmil Kishore talks through carrying out a successful Heritage Impact Assessment, with reference to Historic England guidelines and the SPAB Approach. Jhil covers when a Heritage Impact Assessment is needed, what it should include, statements of significance, and the role of conservation professionals in balancing a duty of care with pragmatism.
