Event details

This is a unique chance to take part in a tour of this fascinating group of buildings before major conservation and development works start. The buildings have been stripped out of previous modern fittings, and this will be an interesting moment to see the original shapes of the buildings. Join Stuart Mackellar of LDN Architects to hear about the history of the site, and to learn about the transformation of the castle.  For more information about the project, visit the website at www.spiritofthehighlands.com or find it on Facebook and Twitter .

Stuart Mackellar is partner at LDN Architects, and will be joined by architect Ian Fraser to give the tours.  The project is being undertaken for The Highland Council.

Places are limited to 24, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

The event will start at 2pm, and we hope to be finished by 4.30pm.

Gather at the Flora MacDonald statue on the castle esplanade from 13.30.  Please wear sturdy boots and a face covering indoors, hi-viz / hard hats are not required.

Multiple bookings
As long as there is space on the event, we usually allow you to book for both yourself and a guest. When completing the booking form, you will be asked to select the number of people and put in your own details on the first page, then to put in your second person's details on the next page. The event fee shown on each of these pages is for the individual person - you will be shown the total amount due once you get to the summary page.
