A 5-storey brick tower mill, built in 1855 on the site of an earlier post mill. Last worked in 1892. Mill has sails with skeleton shutters and fantail and a Kentish cap. Most machinery remains.

About 2 miles east of Croydon centre. Take A232 from Croydon to Shirley. Turn right at roundabout, then across second roundabout. Mill is half mile on right, in Post Mill Close, off the Upper Shirley Road, Shirley, Croydon, Surrey.
