Grade II* listed, dating from 1814. It is the second tallest and largest post mill in the United Kingdom. The mill last worked by wind in 1894 and has been authentically restored as a working mill. Opening Times:

Every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from Easter until the end of August, then 6th and 20th September.

National Mills Weekend opening times:

Sunday 10th May from 12noon to 4.30pm. For details see website.  
Guided tours, stationary engines, stalls, music, BBQ and teas. Photographic exhibition and film of the history and restoration of the windmill/milling machinery.
Virtual tour for visitors who cannot climb the long ladder into the mill.
