Hockley Watermill

Hockley Watermill

Watermill

Grade II listed watermill built in 1803 and adjoining barn (now converted). The working iron Poncelet style undershot wheel drives an unusual horizontal timber mainshaft designed to drive a threshing machine. Two pairs of stones and intact, mostly wooden machinery for their operation (too fragile to be used).
