Laser Survey Techniques, Lunchtime CPD Session

Registration is closed for this event
Discover how laser surveys are done, why they're useful and how the results are used to inform project and building management decisions. Part of our 2020 lunchtime CPD series.

12.00-13.30, 5 March 2020

Andy Beardsley is the managing director of Terra Measurement Limited, multidisciplinary measurement surveyors.  Andy will review the latest technology and best practice for measured surveys.  He will also show how heritage sites and historic buildings can benefit from a best practice measured survey, with particular reference to high accuracy 3d laser scanning.  The SPAB projects of St Andrew’s Old Chapel at Boxley and Kibworth Harcourt Windmill will feature in the talk.

Lunchtime CPD Series

The SPAB launched our series of short CPD sessions in 2017. These are specially designed to give you a way to easily meet your CPD requirements and improve your understanding of building conservation during your lunch break.

Held at our offices in central London, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, we will be offering four sessions on core conservation topics, led by experts. Lunch is included in the ticket price and it is a great opportunity to meet likeminded people and discuss issues informing the care of historic buildings.
