Learn how to manage the impact of vegetation on old buildings. Part of our 2019 lunchtime CPD series.

12.00-13.30, 19 March 2019

Alan Cathersides, National Landscape Adviser at Historic England, takes a look at the types of vegetation most commonly found on the walls of old buildings and discusses how to identify those most likely to damage the fabric before detailing when and how to control them.

Lunchtime CPD Series

The SPAB launched our series of short CPD sessions in 2017. These are specially designed to give you a way to easily meet your CPD requirements and improve your understanding of building conservation during your lunch break.

Held at our offices in central London, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, we will be offering four sessions on core conservation topics, led by experts. Lunch is included in the ticket price and it is a great opportunity to meet likeminded people and discuss issues informing the care of historic buildings.
