Join the Ess ex & Suffolk Group for the opportunity to look aro und five listed private timber framed houses\, not normally open to the public\, and the grade one l isted Church of St Mary the Virgin.
\n \nW e will meet in the Little Baddow History Centre wh ere we will be given a talk by Mel Thompson\, a lo cal historian\, about the village of Little Baddow .
\n \nWe will then split into three groups and ask you to make your own way between the thre e morning venues. These are Little Baddow Hall\, C uckoos and the Church of St Mary the Virgin.
\ n \nWe will return to the History Centre at ar ound 12:30 for lunch (bring your own packed lunch) where there will be more time to look around the History Centre and the co located United Reform Ch urch chapel.
\n \nAfter lunch we will drive approximately 10 minutes to the afternoon’s easte rn group of three houses comprising Pilgrims\, Col eraines and Poleighs where again we will split int o three groups.
\n \nYou will be shown arou nd the houses by their owners and the church by so meone from the local history society\, they will b e pleased to answer any of your questions
