 />\n  <br />\n Join SPAB Chair Duncan McCallum for
  an evening walk from Hammersmith to Chiswick expl
 oring places associated with William Morris. <br /
 >\n  <br />\n Beginning at the northern end of Ham
 mersmith Bridge\, this guided riverside walk will 
 follow the Thames through Hammersmith and Chiswick
 \, passing historic houses and hearing about the m
 any notable figures connected with the area. Along
  the way\, attendees will enjoy a short visit to K
 elmscott House\, Morris’s home during the final ye
 ars of his life and now headquarters of the Willia
 m Morris Society. <br />\n  <br />\n The route con
 tinues past Chiswick’s old ferry landing and throu
 gh the historic village centre\, including Hogarth
 ’s House\, which SPAB helped to save. The evening 
 concludes at The Tabard\, Richard Norman Shaw’s ce
 lebrated Grade II* listed public house of 1880 at 
 Bedford Park\, close to Turnham Green Underground 
 station. <br />\n  <br />\n The walk is approximat
 ely 2½ miles long and offers a chance to discover 
 the architectural\, social and artistic history of
  this stretch of the Thames in the company of fell
 ow SPAB members and enthusiasts. </h4>\n \n <h3>Ac
 cessibility</h3>\n \n <p>The walk is approximately
  2½ miles long and takes place on pavements and ri
 verside routes which may include uneven surfaces. 
 There will be periods of continuous walking with l
