 ffolk SPAB are pleased to offer the opportunity to
  meet with other SPAB members and guests with a vi
 sit\, tour and two course dinner at Houchins\, a g
 rade 2* listed building in the wonderful Essex cou
 ntryside\, just outside Coggeshall. This a popular
  social event in the SPAB Essex & Suffolk calendar
  and not to be missed.</p>\n \n <p>Houchins Farmho
 use is a grade 2* listed building dating from circ
 a 1590\, it is a heavy timber framed and plastered
  building\, jettied at the first and second floors
 . The building boasts 17th-century oak panelling a
 nd carved grotesque figures to name a few. </p>\n 
 \n <p>This building is set in the lovely Essex cou
 ntryside with traditional farmyard gardens. The si
 te is still a working farm but runs as a wedding v
 enue with the main house being used as accommodati
 on. This event will be a guided tour by the events
  manager of the house and stroll round the gardens
 \, followed by evening dinner and a chance to sit 
 down with other likeminded members and friends.</p
