 e SPAB Sussex Group for a guided tour of a 1470s h
 ouse. <br />\n <br />\n St Mary’s is a much-loved 
 historic house dating from around 1470\, with a ri
 ch and varied history. Rescued from dereliction ov
 er forty years ago by Peter and Roger\, the house 
 has been carefully restored and lovingly lived in 
 ever since. Following Peter’s death last year at t
 he age of 98\, the house and gardens continue to b
 e cared for and shared with visitors by the St Mar
 y's Historic House Trust.<br />\n <br />\n We will
  be taken on a guided tour of this large and fasci
 nating timber-framed house by one of the Trust’s k
 nowledgeable guides\, with opportunities to learn 
 more about its conservation and ask questions thro
 ughout the visit. Participants will also have acce
 ss to the gardens\, and may choose to stay afterwa
 rds to enjoy refreshments in the tearoom.</p>\n \n
