SPAB MILLS SECTION - MIILLWRIGHTS LIST
The Section wishes to stress the importance of the traditional millwrights in the repair and maintenance of the historic machinery in our mills. The list is prepared and distributed in good faith in the hope that it will be of assistance to persons seeking the services of millwrights The following firms and individuals do not operate only in their own local areas and they may well be prepared to travel to carry out suitable work.
On the basis of reports received, the Section believes that any of the millwrights listed below should offer a satisfactory standard of workmanship, but it cannot guarantee that this will be the case and can offer no liability for any claims or other matters which may arise from reliance on the list. It is essential that you make your own enquiries. To ensure that this list remains representative, we would like to hear from other millwrights and about the quality of those listed and unlisted. References are available for those listed by written application to The Mills Section, SPAB, 37 Spital Square, London E1 6DY.
