Regional Events

Organised by volunteers

In several counties member-volunteers have formed 'Regional Groups' and they always welcome new people keen to get involved or suggest ideas for activities. Events range from the technical, such as lime days, to the more aesthetic, e.g. a concert in an historic building. On the whole they offer visits to private buildings not normally open to the public and a chance to speak to local historians
and owners as well as conservation specialists.

The Regional Groups started in 1994 and the number has grown  until now we have : Bath & Bristol, Bucks, Berks and Oxon(BBO), Devon, Dorset, Essex, Fenland & Wash, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent & Surrey, Marches, North Wales, Somerset, South Lancashire & Cheshire, South Wales, SPAB in the North East, SPAB in the North West;  Suffolk, Sussex, West Midlands, Yorkshire

There is also SPAB in Scotland.

If you join the SPAB you will receive contact details and activities of all groups and planned events.  All members of SPAB can go along to events organised by any group, provided there is room.
