The SPAB is hosting a forum to explore and debate best practice in the use of lime-based materials and the selection of appropriate mortars in different conservation projects. Topics that will be covered include:

  • The palette of materials and recent developments in hot lime, earth and 20th century materials
  • Current lime research
  • Understanding the market
